Environment and conservation

Environmental volunteering is a great chance to protect our nature on land and ecosystem that was suffering for the past five decades due to human offenses that led the whole world and Somali people particularly  to experience a lot of deforestation and desertification of the environment.

VACSOM is committed to take part in environment protection efforts through our volunteers and implementing different activities including the following but not limited to:

• Community awareness on environmental education
• Mitigation of overgrazing and overcutting of trees
• Tree planting campaign and
• Environmental advocacy campaigns.
