Voluntary Action Committee in Somalia (VACOSM),
vacsom is a non-profitable and non-governmental, non-political, voluntary based
organization focusing on community development, working with local communities in the marginalized and poverty-stricken urban and rural areas in Somalia to fight against illiteracy, poverty and diseases through various Volunteering and
Community development programs.
VACSOM is focusing on emergency relief, health, education, nutrition, water and sanitation (WASH), food security as well as capacity building and impowering of youth and women in Somalia. VACSOM is committed to reach the vulnerable populations in rural areas and poor urbans in entire Somalia through our volunteers and local partners.

We work to promote access to quality healthcare services, nutrition education, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices, particularly for children, women, youth, and vulnerable populations.
We work with communities, youth, women, and local leaders to foster dialogue, strengthen democratic values, encourage civic participation, and support peaceful conflict resolution.
We believe that youth are the foundation of sustainable development and play a vital role in shaping a peaceful, prosperous, and resilient Somalia. Our initiatives aim to foster innovation, self-reliance.
We work with farmers, pastoralists, youth, and women to enhance agricultural productivity, promote climate-smart farming practices, and create income-generating opportunities that improve household resilience and food security.
We encourage individuals to dedicate their time, skills, and energy to serving others and addressing the needs of their communities. Through volunteer, we promote a culture of compassion. By working together, volunteers help create positive.
